But like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves in all your conduct [be set apart from the world by your godly character and moral courage]; because it is written, “You shall be holy (set apart), for I am holy .”

Before Christ, I enjoyed the mystery of vagueness. I found the idea of problem-solving thrilling (to an extent I still do). However, as I have matured in Christ, I have come to realise that unlike before; I prefer clarity. God is sure and His word is true. As humans, we have worked hard to blur out the lines which have been clearly laid out in scriptures to fulfil our own selfish desires.
We have been called and set apart to do God’s great work. Let us live holy lives just as God himself is holy.
