If you are single especially, I am quite certain you have hear this phrase many…many times😅. Or even dare I say it, “don’t put your eggs in one basket”. I say in reference to relationships but this can be applied to any facet of your life.So what does this actually mean?💭
Basically, you are not sticking to just one avenue of thought or action. For example, that job or promise whatever it may be. Just to caveat that there are definitely some things in life where having different options is a good thing but this is not the focus of this blog.
When it comes to faith, one option is essentially THE OPTION which is following Jesus Christ…
“If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord”. Romans 14:8 CSB
“But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth!” Revelation 3:16
Throughout our lives, we are constantly presented with options. It is only by the leading and guidance of the Holy Spirit that we make the right decisions.
My prayer for you is that in whatever circumstances you may face, you choose the path that leads you closer to Jesus🙏🏾.
