Reset

It’s been long for real, for real!😅

Where have I been? I’ve been in hibernation!lol  However, the opportunity to disconnect has been a welcome change.

Have you ever felt the need to be constantly on the go? Do you sometimes feel the pressure to always be connected online? Have you ever asked yourself why?

Perhaps it’s because of peer pressure or even the effects of undue personal pressure. It could be a cry for help.  Or maybe your soul is genuinely searching for somewhere to find rest and solace🤔. 

This is the place I found myself in. Desperately searching and longing to be connected and understood. A safe haven where I could remove the walls built around my fragile heart. A place where vulnerability would be deemed strength because the one I had entrusted my heart to could be fully trusted.

After trying to fill the void with dead-end solutions, I came to realise that the rest and peace I so longed for could only be found in Jesus Christ. You might think you have it all figured out but the truth is, none of us has!

From time to time, we all need a reminder; a compass to point us to where our focus should be directed. For others like me, that requires a RESET…

Ask God to examine your heart and show you where you have got it wrong. Ask Him to help you get it right. God doesn’t judge or condemn, He is waiting for you to turn back to Him.

Your breakthrough is on the other side of your vulnerability and humility in admitting that you haven’t got it right. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you!👊🏽
